flight of 4 USMC Capts. and pilots of F4U-4B Corsair fighters
with 7302nd Sq five Marine Corps on a mission spotted a silvery-white
object passing below them, banking into a left turn. As the object
circled around, the Marine flight leader dove toward the object, which
appeared to be 10-20 feet in diameter and it flew away at an estimated
speed of 1,000 m.p.h. and disappeared toward friendly lines.
