Time: 12 OCT 53 13/0300Z. At 9:00 p.m., local time,
an object was detected on a SCR-584 radar. The object entered the
scope from the NE and continued on a course of 250 degrees for
approximately 10 minutes, then gradually changed direction and left the
scope on a heading of 70 degrees. The altitude of the object varied
from 225,000 feet to 37,000 feet. The object was observed for 36
