9:15 p.m. L. E. VanDercar and 9 year old son saw 4 dark
circular objects with mostly fuzzy edges, cross the face of the Moon
[in the S at 175° azimuth 77° elevation, 83% illuminated or
almost full], each 1/2 the angular size of Moon. (Berliner)

At 2115 EST, Mr Lewis E. Van Dercar and his nine year
old son observed 4 circular objects pass across the face of the moon.
The objects were approximately 1/2 the diameter of the moon and had a
sharply defined leading edge.
