August 13, 1947, Salmon Dam, Idaho,
Incident # 76
County Commissioner L. W. Hawkins and J. H. Brown heard a
roar and they looked up and saw two circular objects at an estimated
altitude of 4,000 to 6,000 feet flying at great speed. This incident
occurred the same day as Incident # 75 at Twin Falls, Idaho, the Urie
experience.
Brown and Hawkins were satisfied that they had seen
something and were very doubtful if the objects were planes.
Dr. Hynek's evaluation: Evidence offered suggests no
explanation
