Unknowns, this case IS listed in the Comprehensive Catalog of Project
Blue Book Unknowns, by Brad Sparks. Very little can be found regarding
this incident apparently because the Air Force claimed "No conclusions.
Report too late to investigate". However this much was found:
Sandia Mtns (Kirtland AFB?), NM. 4:30
PM (MST). (McDonald list, BB Rep
7), 15 minutes. Dull aluminum object, shaped like a flattened oval and
as large as a B-29 fuselage. 150-200 mph and stationary. 10,000 feet.
