This is page is under construction and cases will be added as they are located. Our thanks for these chronologies must go to the A-Team, in particular, Don Johnson (UFOCAT), Dan Wilson (archive researcher), Jean Waskiewicz (online NICAP DBase [NSID], and Peter Davenport (NUFORC). You will note the many foreign reports that we are now being able to access. Also, Don Johnson's entries are constructed slightly different than the usual NICAP chrono format to save time and help separate the sources.

Jun. 7, 2008 - On this night in Antioch Community, South Carolina a married couple with many years of aviation experience were returning from some friends' house where they had been watching movies. They were discussing one of the movies when the wife said, "Look at that, what in the world is that?" They saw a black triangular craft in the air with lights and several windows. There was a purple beacon in the center of the bottom, but no position lights or anti-collision lights anywhere on the object. They thought for a moment that it might be a B-2 bomber, but it made no noise at all and after "zooming" up to them it stopped right over their vehicle. About this time they turned onto their private road and made it up to their house. This was around 11:20 p.m. The next thing that either of them remembers was being in the car at 2:24 a.m. in the morning. The car was running but the wife was in the driver's seat and the husband in the passenger's. Since he is 6'5" and she is 5'7" this meant that his knees were forced into the dashboard.Neither remembers anything whatsoever after parking the car. They do not remember what happened during the lost time, why they were in different positions in the car, or why they were still sitting outside their house with all of the car windows still down and the moon roof open. The husband woke up with a headache the next morning, and his wife felt ill enough to stay in bed for most of the next day. There were other good reports of flying triangles that same night in Brooklyn, Michigan and Mountain View, California. (Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, June 2008 webpage, report posted July 5, 2008).

Jun. 19, 2008 - At around 11:35 p.m. a Roanoke County, Virginia police officer responded to a call about a strange unidentified object in the sky over the Catawba area, ten miles west-northwest of the Roanoke Regional Airport. The officer reported seeing the object in the air slowly moving parallel to Interstate 81. The object was semi-circular in appearance and had approximately half a dozen red and orange flashing lights around it. It made no sound as it moved. The police department received a second call at 12:15 a.m. looking for answers about the object reported over Catawba. Police said at least two additional witnesses besides the officer saw the object. (Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, June 2008 webpage, report posted July 5, 2008).

<>June 23, 2008 - Multiple UFOs were seen, including two football-sized rectangular objects, in Abingdon, VA between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. There were multiple witnesses to the rectangular objects, which were seen at close range (approximately 2000 ft above ground level). The main witness, an ex-paratrooper/pathfinder, took detailed notes of the event and drew sketches of the rectangles. This incident was reported to NUFORC. According to one of the neighbors one of the exits on I-81, just a couple of miles from where the sighting occurred, was closed for NASA by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). <> The VDOT was contacted to confirm. No exits were closed, but NASA did move equipment through the area on the same day. (Trevor Carter).

Jun. 30, 2008 - A close encounter occurred between Cardiff and Atlantic City, New Jersey on the Atlantic City Expressway at 10:25 p.m. A 25-foot wide triangular craft was seen hovering or moving very slowly, just 40 feet directly above the expressway, very close to and in front of the witnesses. Its speed appeared to be quite slow, moving at an estimated ten miles per hour, and it passed directly over their vehicle as they drove under it. They saw it again, twice in the next five minutes. (Source:Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, archived June 2008 webpage, report posted July 5, 2008).

Jul. 18, 2008 - Exactly one year after a similar sighting in Columbia, Missouri and at the same hour, a black triangular object hung motionless in the sky in St. Charles, Missouri over the southside of Missouri Highway 370, just off of Discovery Bridge. It had three white and one red non-blinking lights. (Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, July 2008 webpage, report uploaded August 12, 2008).

Jul. 30, 2008 - A bright white light turned to red as it sped up, slowed down, and zigzagged across the sky in New London, Minnesota at 11:43 p.m. (Source: Peter Davenport, National UFO Reporting Center, Seattle, July 2008 webpage, report uploaded August 12, 2008).

July 31, 2008 - Two triangular UFOs (dark silver in color) were seen by a single witness while driving along Highway 19 going NE. Both objects were the same size, comparable to football fields. One of the objects remained stationary while the other docked on top of it. A red blinking light was seen on the second object that was moving. After the second triangle docked on top of the first they took off at a "high rate of speed." The witness claims she lost cell phone service during her sighting, but has been through this area many times and never experienced any outage before. She also had to reset her XM radio the next day. (Trevor Carter)

Aug. 3, 2008 - On this morning two witnesses were backpacking around near Glenorchy on South Island, New Zealand  when they encountered a landed UFO. The weather had cleared that day and they had decided to go for a tramp on the Mount Aspiring track, but before they reached it they spotted what looked like a landed disc-shaped UFO in a paddock. The craft was round and about five meters tall, with legs for landing gear and pulsing yellow white lights around its perimeter. The witnesses attempted to approach to take photos but several "men" in white suits confronted them, taking their cameras. (Source: Albert S. Rosales, Humanoid Contact Database 2008, citing http://www.psychics.co.uk/psychic-forum).

Aug. 8, 2008 - A missing time experience during a humanoid encounter occurred early this night in Wrentham, Massachusetts. A man and his sister were hiking through the Joe's Rock area and were taken aback by a very strange being they saw lurking behind a tree. Curious, both witnesses approached the creature as it shyly walked out from behind the tree. It was incredibly thin, and its color looked pale and much washed out. Its skin was also very wrinkly and looked like old, soft leather. The creature then began making strange clicking and moaning sounds. Both witnesses were stunned and could not react to what they were seeing. The main witness does not remember much else of the experience, except that he remembers being back at the car and it was then that he realized, when checking his cellphone, that the time was already 1:46 a.m. The creature was additionally described as being about 4.5 feet tall with dark black eyes. (Source: Albert S. Rosales, Humanoid Contact Database 2008).

Aug. 18, 2008 - A wingless silver cigar-shaped object stopped in the air over the ocean off of Cape Breton near Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada at 7:50 p.m.; it then disappeared. There were three witnesses and the sighting lasted for four minutes. (Source: Geoff Dittman, Canadian UFO Survey 2008, case # 611).
